Recently my wife and I visited Brookfield Wisconsin location. We were very well received by Stephanie and we truly enjoyed her attentiveness and hospitality. She was knowledgeable and friendly and we would send anyone to her for consult. Thank you, Stephanie.

Don't buy from Lenscrafters online!

I wouldn't buy from Lenscrafters online again. From the website, it appears that local and online stores operate together. They do not. If you buy frames online, the local store can't repair them. They will make adjustments, but they have to be sent back to the online store for repairs. And the discounts for buying frames and lenses together don't apply if you buy the frames online and the lenses at the store. This should clearly be disclosed on the website.

Bad communication and difficult to process orders.

I'm actually surprised it's a brand name like LensCrafters who behaved this way.

First they cancelled my order, for no apparent reason.

I contacted Live Chat and they gave me a very vague answer about not receiving the prescription correctly. (I uploaded it correctly, and the website processed it.) So I took their advice to do it again, and select the "call my doctor" option.

Note that this was already a surprise and inconvenience and would push me close to the date where I absolutely need my glasses, and I was really counting on this next try to go thru correctly.

5ish days later it still said "pending rx", so I contacted Live Chat, and they said to email *******@lenscrafters. No answer.

Couple days later another email, and a day or so later still no answer.

I contacted Live Chat and they told me that my doctor's fax machine was down and that they hadn't been able to receive my prescription. (I don't really even understand how they would know that, unless they had communicated with my doctor-- in which case they'd be able to have my prescription and process my order, LOL. What, did they get in touch with you right this moment as I opened up Live Chat?)

Given that I need my glasses asap at this point (and at this point I wouldn't trust it if they told me they could have it ready in time), I asked to cancel the order, which they did.

Altogether it's clear that there's some problem on their end and they're not being upfront about it, and left me hanging and badly inconvenienced.

I really am amazed I was communicating with LensCrafters rather than some fly by night operation or something.

Ironically, I was willing to pay more to use them because I thought they'd be reliable. With cheap online options, I'd advise that there's absolutely no reason to use LensCrafters.

Lenscrafters on the decline

Lenscrafters - Castleton Square mall, Indianapolis, In

had exam, prescription was wrong
bought glasses, found prescription to be wrong
went back, manager Shay and associate fiddled with the glasses took no responsibility for selling me something I can't use
manager Shay said "just takes some time to find the sweet spot" goodbye
I don't know when Lenscrafters went down hill but they are nothing like they were in years past.
I'm a long time client or at least I was now I'm history to them but as with most businesses today THEY DONT CARE

Extremely poor service in getting a cataract surgeons.

We have been gettng eye service at Brookwood and the Sumit for many years. However, i have to have emergency cataract surgery ASAP. WE found out on July 31 and the eye tech said she would call Monday morning to get the first available for me. Four weeks past, and I called back. The tech said the doctor's office was closed on Monday. I told her I would be out of town on Monday and to leave message on my answering machine I needed the surgery son as My September had Holy Days and i needed the surgery before and other urgent things in September. Never Heard back from here. A few days later I called and so
hen. someone else answred the phone. She said I had an appointnent September 5. Now how was I supposed to know that. In addition the doctor was going n vaction September 19 [ right in the middle of the Hifh Holidays. Did I mention I cannot see. I called Dr. Tyner , the owner of the business. He jusr wanted that I cold go to another doctor, but refused to give a referra. I caled the tech and she said she would call back but she hasn't and I am sure she wn't. I needmy eyes fixed now. and no one wil give me another referal. I am not going back to Lenscrafters again or at least I say that now!

I recently wrote a review for a LensCrafters store in Bismark, ND but it was the store in Fargo, ND I visited (West Acres). I apologize - a traveler getting cities confused.

Natalie at the Fargo store was more than great. She took care of an adjustment issue quickly and professionally. She got right what the initial provider couldn't. Thank you!

I purchased a pair of glasses in store…

I purchased a pair of glasses in store in Salisbury MD. when i got home i went online to their site to show my sister what i had purchased. I had the receipt so i just plugged in the information. Well the glasses came up 77.00 less before the frames and lenses were both on sale online. I asked today when i went to pick up my glasses and they would not honor told me i had to return the ones i bought and then reorder online... what from the same location?? So i then did a live chat and that person told me the same thing..so i would not purchase glasses instore just go online!! that is so ridiculous! I wouldnt have a problem if difference was small but 77.00 is a big difference.

Terrible lenses and customer service.

I am 60 years old and have been wearing glasses for 50 of those years. The glasses I purchased 3 months ago are the worst I have ever had.
I consented to all the suggestions, including scratch resistant lenses. My out of pocket after insurance was $330.00
I followed their instructions to use their glass cleaning spray and lenses cloth.
Now, in that short time they are literally useless. They are so scratched I can not safely drive with them.
In all fairness I did not take the protection plan as I was under the impression it was for lost or broken glasses.
I have never encountered lenses so vulnerable to scratching. The manager was less than helpful and frankly not very nice. Rather dismissive.
I can not afford to take a chance with this entity again. This was a costly lesson and I will never be duped in this fashion again.
Buyer beware!!!

LensCrafters=Great Experience

LensCrafters in Gaithersburg Md (Rio Lakefront store) did a great job in adjusting my eyeglass frames (Nike Sport Transition lenses) on 8/06/22. The customer service agent (Heather) was very friendly and eager to help after I explained that the glasses kept sliding forward if bending my head down. Heather was able to heat/bend the side frame downward behind the ear. Now the glasses don’t slide forward. I was initially afraid I was going to wear an eyeglass retainer, which I really didn’t want to do. I really like theses frames, (I also have 2 other pair of glasses, being one sunglass and one with clip on sunglass. ( wearing darker/sunglasses help prevent me from seeing more “floaters” in my vision). I like the Nike the best, being more comfortable and I don’t have to keep switching glasses. My Transition lenses in the Nike frames are my preference.
Thank you Heather!

Worst ever!

Worst ever!! Spent over $1000.00 on glasses for my husband and I. Prescriptions has changed and had to have them changed back for both of us. Husband still can’t see out of his and mine were supposed to be remade but weren’t because they are the first prescription, verified with two other optometrists. They won’t fix there mistake because they already remade once. This was there mistake and we have glasses we can’t wear. We had to repay for my husbands lenses, still issues seeing. Super shady practices. Be careful because Lens Crafters are buying small businesses.
